Veni’s chocolatiers began their passion for crafting chocolate and candy formulas at the turn of the 19th century. These European traditions were brought to the quaint town of Niles, Michigan, where Veni’s Sweet Shop has been a local landmark ever since.
Today, Veni’s takes great pride in it’s old-world traditions, time tested formulas, and techniques that have been handed down for over 100 years. Our cooked creams are still made from scratch, in a large copper kettle, and then carefully rolled and dipped by hand. We use only the finest, freshest ingredients such as sweet cream butter, pure oils and extracts, and cane sugar. By producing small, carefully blended batches of confections, Veni’s can guarantee a fresh, better tasting chocolate experience.
You’ll love the rich, yet never overpowering flavor of our artisan chocolates and candies. Veni’s Sweet Shop has our very own meltaway, with a softly whipped center, unlike any other. Caramels, toffee and almond butter crunch are rich buttery favorites as well. You can also enjoy unique flavors such as molasses sponge and candied orange and lemon peel.
